1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using ScentKeep you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What ScentKeep is
ScentKeep is a personal cataloguing tool for a fragrance collection. It records information you enter yourself. It does not authenticate, appraise, or verify any product, and any value it displays is simply a total of the prices you typed in.
3. Your content
Everything you enter — bottle details, notes, diary entries, photos — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to provide the app to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to any photo you upload.
4. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
ScentKeep Premium is available as:
- Monthly — $4.99 per month
- Annual — $24.99 per year, including a 30-day free trial for new subscribers
- Lifetime — $59.99 once, which does not renew
Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device account settings after purchase — deleting the app does not cancel it.
If you take the free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription at the price above. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, so refunds are handled under their policies, not ours. We cannot issue a refund directly, but email us and we will help you raise one.
6. Free tier limits
The free tier includes up to 12 bottles in your wardrobe, up to 3 wishlist items, unlimited daily logging, and the most recent 30 days of your diary. If a subscription ends, nothing you created is deleted — you keep everything, but you will not be able to add beyond the free limits until you subscribe again.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the app
- Attempt to access another user's data, or probe or disrupt our infrastructure
- Use the app for anything unlawful
- Upload content you do not have the right to use
8. Availability
We aim to keep ScentKeep working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app is designed to work offline; cloud sync depends on services we do not control. You are responsible for keeping your own backup — the export feature exists for this.
9. Disclaimer and liability
ScentKeep is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using ScentKeep at any time and delete your data from within the app. We may suspend access if these terms are breached in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and noted in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
